Dr Thushani Dassanayake has been practicing for the last 12 years in Australia and Sri Lanka. She completed her medical degree (MBBS) in 2009. She has worked at Campbelltown Hospital and has experience in general medicine and emergency care. Thushani holds a Diploma of Child Health and a Certificate in Emergency Medicine.
Thushani thrives on the variety of general practice and appreciates the opportunity to get to know her patients and help them to achieve their health and life goals.
She has a particular interest in womens’ and children’s health, antenatal care, preventive medicine, emergency medicine, mental health, worker’s compensation, and chronic disease management. Thushani is focused on providing holistic and personalised care to all her patients.
Outside of work, Thushani enjoys watching movies and reading books. She speaks Sinhalese in addition to English.
