Diabetes Program
Type 2 Diabetes is associated with hereditary factors and lifestyle risk factors, including poor diet, low physical activity, and overweight / obesity. This means there is lots to work with! Even if you are currently managing your diabetes through medication or insulin replacement to control blood sugar levels, addressing your diet and lifestyle can result in huge improvements in your condition.
Who is this program for?
This program has been designed for patients diagnosed with Type 2 Diabetes, pre-Diabetes and/or insulin resistance.
How this program can help
While each person must be assessed individually, the following may be possible:
- Reversal of Diabetes, pre-Diabetes and/or insulin resistance
- Reduce risk of related diseases and illnesses
- Reduce need for medication
- Increase energy and wellbeing
- Achieve and maintain a healthy weight
How it works
In your initial appointment, we’ll get some benchmarks to understand your current health profile. You’ll do a baseline Seca Scan and we’ll assess your lifestyle profile.
For new patients, you’ll meet with the GP to ensure the program takes into consideration all your health factors. Next, Adrian, our nutritionist, will develop a personal plan for your body type, with evidence-based strategies to ensure you have the best chance of implementing the dietary and lifestyle changes to boost your health.
Regular body composition scans will monitor your progress and measure what’s working, and our supportive practitioners will help keep you on track.
Partial medicare rebates are available (if applicable). If required, supplements are not included.
You can also contact our friendly Reception Team on 02 0422 0700 or submit a contact form to have our team call you directly. New and current patients welcome!
