A new way of thinking about food

We often attach an emotion to our food and this can reflect and influence our own emotions and the way we feel about ourselves.

We often think and feel about food in terms of it being good or bad, sound familiar? So when we eat that food we then have to eat that emotion.

Let’s start building a new relationship with food where there is no emotion and making choices are not a reflection on our own self worth.

From today we will talk about food in terms of Everyday and Sometimes food. Nothing is forbidden or excluded, our health is not punishment!! There will always be choices that we can make based on the health and nutritional content of a food.

Basically, we should consume a well balanced diet that does not eliminate any food groups. It’s the quality and choice of the food group we make that determines how healthy we are.

A great start making a list of our Everyday and Sometimes foods.

Get started and stay tuned for more from me!
